Privacy Policy
Your privacy — and your child's — matters to us. "Learn Letters" is an educational app for children, built from the ground up so that it does not collect personal information from the child, shows no ads, and contains no in-app purchases. This document explains what information is involved when you use the app and website, and what your rights are.
1. Information We Collect
The app runs mostly offline and without sign-up. We do not collect a child's name, address, phone number, or any personal identifier.
- Game progress (trophies, which letters were practiced) is stored locally on the device only and is not sent to us.
- Accessibility settings and preferences on the website are saved in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to any server.
- Purchase data is handled solely by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.
2. How We Use Information
To the extent any technical data is collected (for example, through the app stores or anonymous measurement tools), it is used only to:
- Run the app and keep progress on the device.
- Understand how many people use the app and improve it.
- Respond to support requests you initiate.
3. Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. Limited technical data may be processed by infrastructure providers we rely on, subject to their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store and Google Play — distribution, installation, and payment.
- Hosting and analytics services — aggregated, anonymous data to improve the website.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The marketing website makes minimal use of local storage (localStorage) to remember the accessibility settings you choose. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear local storage through your browser settings at any time.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is intended for use by children with a parent. Accordingly, it is designed not to collect personal information from children, contains no chat or external content, and has no links that take a child outside the app without an adult's action. If you believe a child's personal information has reached us by mistake, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the limited information involved in the service. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
7. Your Rights
Because we do not hold personally identifying information, in most cases there is nothing for us to delete — removing the app from the device erases all local progress data. Nonetheless, you have the right to contact us to access, correct, or delete information, and we will act in accordance with applicable law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. An updated version will be posted on this page with a new update date, and continued use of the app or website afterward constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
